A Brief Note...



I haven't updated for a while, and don't have much time at the moment, but I couldn't resist posting a few of the photos I have available. Here is a one of Isabella, my cute little niece by my brother Steve and his girlfriend Sarah...don't worry, when I get back to Crested Butte there will be many more to follow!!!! I can't believe how much she is growing up...









and just for a change, here is the extended the Manchester family drinking and eating...
and here is a photo that I know will make Adrianne jealous...a Portuguese lunch...bread, cheese and wine in a beautiful tiled old restaurant in the Alfama in Lisbon....what more can you want?!!!! And yes, it was delicious, and so was the salad, grilled squid, coffee and brandy that followed...!!!

As the World Turns Premieres (1956)

Soap operas began in the early 1930s as 15-minute radio episodes and continued in that format when they began appearing on TV in the early 1950s. As the World Turns premiered as the first half-hour TV soap. The show, which primarily focused on two professional families in the fictional town of Oakdale, Illinois, ran for 54 years and aired nearly 14,000 episodes.
